The Addiction Recovery Scholarship is for individuals who have been in recovery from drug addiction and/or alcoholism for at least two years and who have already completed one full year of school at an accredited college and/or university.
The winner of the educational scholarship is currently in his junior year at Texas Tech University for Chemistry Engineering and he is also preparing for Pre-Med. A total of $1,000 will be credited toward his tuition for the January 2019 semester.
The purpose of The Watershed's Addiction Recovery Scholarship is to help and support recovering addicts and/or alcoholics who wish to further advance their education.
