Eleven Children's National surgeons and physicians participate in specialized academic panels

WASHINGTON, Oct. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- For the first time in North America,

pediatric surgeons, physicians, and scientists from across the world are gathering in the nation's capital for the World Congress of the World Federation of Associations of Pediatric Surgeons (WOFAPS) hosted by The Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation at Children's National Health System. The 5th World Congress runs from October 8 through October 11 following the theme of "re-imagining children's surgery through global innovation and integration."
