"We are committed to helping people living with this very debilitating disease," said Doug Harrison, CEO and Founder of The SCOOTER Store. "I'm proud of the contributions made by our employees to this worthy event, and we will continue to be a corporation that cares deeply about the less fortunate in our society who need our help. I hope our contributions can help improve the quality of life for people in Texas suffering from MS."

Multiple sclerosis is a debilitating disease that strikes the central nervous system. The body attacks the fatty tissue that protects nerve fibers. This disorder disrupts the ability of the nerves to conduct electrical impulses to and from the brain, producing various symptoms. The exact cause of MS is not known. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, founded in 1946, is dedicated to ending the devastating effects of the disease.
