The theme for this year's meeting is Inspiring Health Together. This will be the first meeting of the joint Kansas City Medical Society and Kansas City Medical Foundation. This meeting will celebrate partnerships from the nonprofit community, local health advocates and doctors that volunteer time, talent and treasure to support the uninsured in the local community.

In addition to our annual award winners the U.S. Surgeon General Vice Admiral (VADM) Jerome M. Adams, M.D., M.P.H., will give us a national perspective of his theme, "better health through better partnerships," and we will hear moving personal stories from Jenna Bell and Wesley Hamilton, both giving give testimony to their experiences with the Kansas City Medical Community.
