The cabs will leave from various staging areas in Manhattan including major commutation points such as Grand Central, Penn Station, Rockefeller Center, the Flatiron Building, Port Authority Bus Terminal, Columbus Circle, Bloomingdales, and in Harlem at St Nicholas between West 125th and 126th Streets. At three of these posts- Grand Central, Rockefeller Center and Harlem- commuters will even have the opportunity to have their blood pressure taken, checking the pulse of what a real New York City rush hour does to our bodies. Once the cabs drop off passengers after leaving the various staging areas however, they are free to anyone that can hail them in New York. If an ad for "The Dr. Oz Show" adorns the taxi top, the ride is on Dr. Oz! May 26 is the first day that "The Dr. Oz Show" will broadcast at 4PM in New York City on Fox 5, WNYW.

New York is the best city in which to live and work and I'm thrilled that we're moving to 4:00 PM on Fox 5 (WNYW) on May 26th," said Dr. Oz. "The least I can do is offer a free ride to commuters during the rush hour to try and alleviate some of the hustle and bustle from their stressful lives."
Information provided at the event will outline simple tips to reduce stress in the lives of New Yorkers which is also key in managing longevity- a topic frequently covered on "The Dr. Oz Show." The average blood pressure data results collected at the event will also be announced the following day.
