The Brooklyn Hospital Center Selects Eclipsys Sunrise Clinical Manager to Help Improve Care Delivery

ATLANTA, Nov. 28 Eclipsys Corporation(R),(Nasdaq: ECLP), The Outcomes Company(R), today announced that The BrooklynHospital Center, Brooklyn, NY will implement Eclipsys' Sunrise ClinicalManager(TM) including the modules Sunrise Acute Care(TM), Sunrise AmbulatoryCare(TM), Sunrise Critical Care(TM), Sunrise Emergency Care(TM), SunrisePharmacy(TM) and Sunrise Knowledge-Based Medication Administration(TM) to helpimprove and better coordinate care delivery for more than 500,000 annualpatient visits.

Sunrise Clinical Manager, along with Sunrise Pharmacy and SunriseKnowledge-Based Medication Administration, will help The Brooklyn HospitalCenter's clinicians deliver medications more safely to patients. EclipsysMedication Management tightly integrates the workflows of physicians,pharmacists and nurses with an end-to-end solution that helps reducemiscommunications, delays and avoidable medication errors. The BrooklynHospital Center's clinicians will also have access to previous medicationorders, the opportunity to review them alongside new orders and plans forcare, and a chance to reconcile any differences in a proactive manner.
