OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 31 Life can seem like a treadwheel of training, conditioning and habits that keep mind, body and emotions rigid. Especially during stressful times, breaking through to a more balanced and flowing lifestyle is a challenge. The Breema Bodywork Method helps people find integrated comfort between mind, body and feelings to revitalize themselves, regardless of what challenges they may be facing. To help people find balance in the midst of daily pressures, The Breema Center today announced that it will host a week-long Fall intensive program on the Breema Bodywork Method. The Fall Intensive will take place October 10-18, 2009 at the Breema Center in Oakland.
Breema is a down-to-earth, practical approach to physical, emotional, and mental health that combines bodywork with techniques for balancing the mind and emotions. Receiving or practicing Breema and Self-Breema exercises brings new flexibility, ease, comfort, and vitality, creating a profound sense of wholeness and vitality.
The Breema Center's October Intensive is open to beginners as well as advanced students and will present a series of in-depth courses on the basic Breema components. During a 3-day set of courses, beginning students will learn bodywork sequences and movement exercises. Classes will emphasize the common-sense Breema principles and feeling comfortable in one's own body.
In addition to the introductory courses, the Breema Center will offer 3 days of classes and workshops on more advanced Breema practices. In these classes, students will combine bodywork sequences to create whole-body (foot-to-head) treatments. The more advanced workshops will explore various facets of the bodywork and principles of Breema.
