- "Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016, S.I. 1154" transpose fifteen EU Directives to the UK law including "Directive 2012/27/EU" on energy efficiency, "Directive 2010/75/EU" on industrial emissions and "Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom" laying down basic safety standards for the protection against the dangers arising from exposure to ionizing radiation. These Regulations repeal and replace the "Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010" except for Regulations 1, 67, 107 and Schedule 26, which are still in force.
- "Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017" transpose "Directive 2011/92/EU" on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment. These Regulations implement the Directive in respect of the town and country planning system in England only and repeal and replace the "Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2011."

These Regulations establish procedures and requirements for the assessment of the impacts on the environment of proposals to build certain public and private projects in Wales. These Regulations repeal and replace the "Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Wales) Regulations 2016."
- "Town and County Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017" establish procedures and requirements for the assessment of the impacts on the environment of proposals to build certain public and private projects in Scotland. These Regulations repeal and replace the "Town and County Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2011."
- "Regulation (EU) 2017/852 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 May 2017 on mercury, and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1102/2008" sets forth requirements for the temporary storage and disposal of mercury waste.
- "Private Water Supplies Regulations 2016, S.I. 2016 No. 618" establish sanitation standards for the water in England. These Regulations repeal and replace the "Private Water Supplies Regulations 2009" and concern the quality of water provided for drinking, washing, or cooking or for food production purposes by private suppliers in England.
- "Private Water Supplies (Wales) Regulations 2017, S.I. 2017 No. 1041 (W. 270)" establish sanitation standards for the water in Wales. These Regulations repeal and replace the "Private Water Supplies (Wales) Regulations 2010" and concern the quality of water provided for drinking, washing, or cooking or for food production purposes by private suppliers in Wales.
- "Water Intended for Human Consumption (Private Supplies) (Scotland) Regulations 2017" replace (and partly re-enact with modifications) the provisions of the "Private Water Supplies (Scotland) Regulations 2006" so far as they apply to a "Type A supply," pursuant to the further implementation of "Council Directive 98/83/EC" on the quality of water intended for human consumption including, in particular, the amendments made by "Commission Directive (EU) 2015/1787 amending Annexes II and III to Council Directive 98/83/EC; and Council Directive 2013/51/EURATOM" laying down requirements for the protection of the health of the general public with regard to radioactive substances in water intended for human consumption.
- "The Water Environment (Miscellaneous) (Scotland) Regulations 2017, S.I. 2017 No. 389" amend the "Water Environment (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Regulations 2011," and repeal the "Water Environment (Oil Storage) (Scotland) Regulations 2006."
- "Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017, S.I. 2017 No. 1075" impose duties on employers to protect employees and other persons against ionising radiation arising from work with radioactive substances and other sources of ionising radiation and also impose certain duties on employees.
