The organization will also be helping connect individuals with employers in the state of California who have agreed to participate in an externship program. The training, recruiting and externship components of the program are being delivered at no cost to the individuals or organizations that choose to participate.

HOW DOES THE GRANT WORK?

  • Individuals interested in the program go through a thorough intake process
  • Accepted trainees receive specific program education through all of the grant partners, including Special Learning Inc.
  • Successful candidates participate in an internship program with full support and guidance from the consortium

EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
