South Cameron Memorial Hospital and Calcasieu Oaks Psychiatric Hospital Discontinue Operations as Result of Impending Hurricane Gustav

MIAMI, Aug. 31 Due to mandatory evacuations and theapproaching Hurricane Gustav, Pacer Health Corporation has discontinuedoperations at its two Louisiana medical facilities: South Cameron MemorialHospital (Cameron, LA) and Calcasieu Oaks Psychiatric Hospital (Lake Charles,LA). Effective immediately, both facilities will cease function until post-storm advisements are issued by local and state officials. Facility patientshave been safely relocated to non-threatening areas or discharged from thefacility.
