Simbionix Welcomes Two New Members to Expand Compay's Medical Education Product Offerings

CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 16, 2010 Simbionix USA Corporation,the world's leading provider of medical education and simulation trainingproducts for medical professionals and the healthcare industry, is pleased toannounce that Marc Schwachter M.D., and Paul DeLuca have joined the Company'sMedical Education Division (MED).

Marc Schwachter, M.D. has joined Simbionix as Physician Community Managerfor MED. Marc will be responsible for developing training programs,educational content, and services supporting the Company's virtual realitysimulators and case-based physician training. In this role he will be theCompany's authority on how surgeons, medical practitioners, and healthcareprofessionals learn, practice, and stay current with the latest medicalprocedures, practices, and technology.

Marc graduated from University of Vermont with a degree inZoology/Philosophy and has a M.D. from Case Western Reserve University Schoolof Medicine. He did his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at theUniversity of Illinois Department of OB/GYN. Prior to accepting thisposition, Marc worked with University Hospitals Department of Surgery inCleveland, OH to deliver surgical skills training and create a surgical videorepository to foster the growth of the department as a leader in surgicalteaching. He designed and produced innovative teaching techniques includinginternational webinars, live surgical symposiums and online consulting andconferencing for the surgeons.

Paul DeLuca will be responsible for the new product development processto define, build and launch the product platform to support the MED businessstrategy. Amongst his activities, Paul will conduct market research tospecify market requirements, maintain the product roadmap illustrating thevision and key phases of delivery for the platform, and develop and implementthe marketing strategy.

Paul brings strong experience in technology product development andinnovative new-media marketing. Prior to accepting this position, he wasDirector of Marketing & Web Services with Centric Technologies where hemanaged the design, development, hosting, and technical maintenance of dozensof commercial web sites. Following the acquisition of MCI Telecommunications'internet business by Cable & Wireless Global PLC, he was the Director ofGlobal Web Hosting Product Management, leading a team of product managers indeveloping 4 web hosting/content management products that generated over $52million in global web hosting revenue.
