Walk of Hope. The Walk of Hope is an annual fundraising event lead by RESOLVE that is hosted in cities across the nation to raise awareness and funding for the infertility community.
The 2018 D.C. Walk of Hope will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the National Harbor, MD with host Melissa Mollett of Washington's NBC 4. SGF physicians, staff, and current and former patients will join together for the walk. The 2 mile walk around the National Harbor symbolizes the infertility journey – a series of small steps, each one filled with hope and a reminder that no one with infertility should walk alone.

It's events like this that serve as a reminder to the 1 in 8 couples facing infertility that you are not alone in your journey. Those attending the race are encouraged to "rock your socks" by wearing your favorite socks during the race. Many infertility patients have special socks that they wear for transfers, procedures, and appointments, which are symbolic to many people on their infertility journey.
Since establishing a partnership with RESOLVE, Shady Grove Fertility has helped to raise not only awareness about infertility, but more than $300,000 in support through annual events that advance RESOLVE's programming, such as support groups, educational content, public awareness initiatives, and advocacy to ensure that family building options are available to everyone.
