Shady Grove Fertility launched their popular webinars in a new on-demand format on select topics for added patient convenience, with more topics to come in 2018.

WASHINGTON, July 2, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Shady Grove Fertility (SGF) announced today they now offer access

to physician-hosted webinars in a new, free, on-demand format. With on-demand titles Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Low-Tech Treatments kicking off the series, these on-demand presentations will complement the live webinars and in-person seminars hosted throughout Maryland, D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.

"The on-demand webinars are just another educational resource our practice offers designed to spread awareness about infertility and how important the role of early diagnosis and treatment truly is in overcoming this common problem," adds Dr. Naveed Khan of SGF's Leesburg, VA and Dulles-Aldie, VA locations. "We realize there's nothing convenient about facing infertility, but accessing credible information and finding a trusted resource shouldn't be burdensome," adds Khan.

This new program gives viewers the option to access the SGF webinars at any time, on the go via a mobile device, or from home or office on a desktop.

The first in many titles to come, the PCOS on-demand webinar hosted by Dr. Khan uncovers what to look for in symptoms of PCOS, how this diagnosis impacts a woman's ability to conceive, and treatment options available for women with PCOS. "The big takeaway is that PCOS is highly treatable and, with the right course of treatment and for some, lifestyle modifications, most women will be able to achieve a pregnancy," says Dr. Khan.

"Many of our patients are often surprised to learn that in vitro fertilization (IVF) may not be their first course of treatment," says Dr. Stephen Greenhouse of SGF's Fair Oaks, VA and Haymarket, VA locations. "In fact, 50 percent of treatment cycles performed at SGF are considered more basic or low tech," adds Dr. Shruti Malik of SGF's Fair Oaks, VA and Woodbridge, VA offices. The second in the on-demand series, "Low-Tech Treatment" hosted by Greenhouse and Malik discusses what patients are considered good candidates for low-tech infertility treatment, how ovulation induction (OI) and intrauterine insemination (IUI) work, and the success rates associated with each of these treatment options.

In addition to the on-demand format, SGF will continue its live educational programming with six virtual webinars and seven in-person seminars throughout the month of July. For those who want the ability to ask their own questions during the Q&A portion of the presentation or to speak with the physician presenter, these events give attendees the opportunity to get their personal questions answered.

While all SGF events are complimentary, interested parties must register to attend by visiting the SGF calendar of events.
