JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 6 -- Seal Shield LLC today announced their new family of washable, antimicrobial, Wii game
SEAL SHIELD™ gaming products have been created to help reduce the risk of worldwide cross contaminations, including H1N1, Norovirus and the "superbug," MRSA. The accessories are manufactured from washable, antimicrobial foams, silicones and abs plastics.
Unlike other gaming accessories, the SEAL SHIELD™ gaming products combine SEAL SHIELD™ waterproof technology and SILVER SEAL™ technology for antimicrobial protection of the products, making them dishwasher safe and resistant to mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria.
"Many of our hospital and institutional healthcare customers were asking us to create Wii accessories for physical therapy in highly infectious areas," states Seal Shield LLC Chief Executive Officer, Brad Whitchurch. "We did focus group market research and found that consumers also recognize the benefits of Seal Shield technology for gaming products," continued Whitchurch. "Consumers want an enhanced gaming experience and they are increasingly aware of the transmittal of germs, so we created the most complete multi-player solutions, containing safety soft foam, IR compatibility, SEAL SHIELD™ washable technology and SILVER SEAL™ technology for antimicrobial protection of the products."
The SEAL SHIELD™ gaming products are easy to clean. Regular cleaning in the sink or dishwasher can help prevent the spread of germs, viruses and bacteria, which are known to harbor on frequently touched surfaces.
SEAL SHIELD LLC will be featuring the new SEAL SHIELD™ gaming products at the international Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, January 7th-11th. Pricing ranges from $29.99 to $49.99 for the multi-player bundles.
Seal Shield™ designs, develops and manufactures medical grade, infection prevention technology for hospitals and the home. The products are distributed by CDW, DELL, PC Connection, MicroAge, New Age Electronics, The Source, GE Healthcare, Keyboard Company, GETT, Scanmagnetics and other reseller partners.
