As part of his philanthropic mission to positively impact education and disease cure, local entrepreneur Jason Hope has donated to the Scottsdale-based nonprofit, International Foundation for Education and Self Help (IFESH). His contribution will help fulfill IFESH's goal to eradicate disease, poverty and inequity in Africa through education and partnership. As part of his donation, Hope will join the organization's prestigious Ambassadors Program, a community of benefactors who help Africans in need through IFESH's education, health and conflict-mitigation programs.

In order for people to make good choices, they must be literate and knowledgeable, and this ideal is imperative for a continent like Africa. Hope will be attending IFESH's annual dinner this month and have the opportunity to meet a group of volunteer educators who will be traveling to sub-Saharan Africa to further IFESH's mission. Currently, IFESH operates and supports projects in 11 sub-Saharan African countries.
