Specialty Health Care Distributor Appoints Four Executive Vice Presidents

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., Nov. 23 -- Sarnova, Inc., the nation's leading specialty distributor of health care products in the emergency medical services (EMS) and respiratory markets, announced today that it has appointed four executives to its senior management team.  The new executives include Tom David, executive vice president of sales; Donna Hill, executive vice president and general counsel; Steve Lacke, executive vice president of marketing; and Greg Robitaille, executive vice president of corporate development.

"I have worked with all of these executives and personally recruited them to join our team," said Hank Struik, president and CEO, Sarnova.  "Their collective experience, deep functional expertise and passion for patient care will contribute greatly to our goal of helping our customers achieve improved patient outcomes.  We have a tremendous opportunity to leverage our clinical expertise and distribution network to bring the newest medical technologies to market that will support caring for patients from the onset of an emergency event through their hospitalization."

Mr. David brings more than 20 years of experience in medical supply sales to Sarnova. He most recently served as vice president of sales at IPA, North America, where he developed strategies for selling automated solutions for dispensing scrubs and linens in hospitals. Previously, Mr. David held sales leadership positions at Cardinal Health that focused on the acute and post-acute care markets.

Ms. Hill most recently served as general counsel for Cardinal Health's Respiratory and Neurocare divisions. Prior to Cardinal Health, she was associate general counsel at SCA Americas, Inc., a global paper consumer goods company.  Ms. Hill previously was a partner with Morgan Lewis and Bockius LLP.  She is a member of the AdvaMed Device and Diagnostic Compliance Group.  Ms. Hill is also chairman of the board for the Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly.

Mr. Lacke joins Sarnova from Cardinal Health, where he served as vice president and general manager of the company's multi-million dollar respiratory patient care business.   Prior to being promoted to this position, Mr. Lacke led business development and strategy for Cardinal Health's US distribution business.  Mr. Lacke also held leadership positions in sales and marketing at Boston Scientific Corporation and The Procter & Gamble Company.

Mr. Robitaille has more than 15 years of business development and investment experience.  He most recently worked with Water Street Healthcare Partners, a leading private equity firm focused exclusively on health care.  Previously, he managed direct investing activities and financial advisory services for a Chicago-based family office.  Mr. Robitaille also spent 10 years with Equity Group Investments (EGI), the primary investment company of Sam Zell, where he originated and managed direct investments in a variety of operating businesses.
