This year's proceeds will go toward City of Hope's Pediatric Center tofurther its research, treatment, and special programs for children battlingcancer. Last year's event's proceeds benefited City of Hope's Dr. KarenAboody to further her research using gene therapy to treat primary andmetastic brain tumors.

Celebrity guests included Actor Scott Elrod from ABC's "Men in Trees", asMC, and Nancy O'Dell, co-anchor of Access Hollywood. Hall of fame jockeys'attended including Gary Stevens, featured in the recent racing moving"Seabiscuit". Nancy O'Dell gave a heartwarming speech where she shared "thatwithout City of Hope's treatment of her father's cancer -- he would not havelived to see his granddaughter".
"Our families' lives have also been touched by cancer --'Racing for Hope'is our way of supporting the fight against all cancers while gatheringtogether for an exciting fun filled event", said Marc Paul.
