For its inclusion on the 2009 listing, Rising reported an impressive 200.6% revenue growth during the three-year period from 2005 - 2008. Among Chicago-based companies, Rising is one of 80 ranked on the list and it is one of 50 companies classified in the insurance-related industry.
The 2009 Inc. 5000 is its biggest yet by a number of measures and is perhaps the best example of the significant accomplishments and impact private companies can have on the nation. Serving as a unique report card on the U.S. economy, the listing reported that aggregate revenue among the honored companies actually increased by 16% from last year, despite the ongoing recession.
