MUNICH, Germany, May 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Rencore, the provider of award-winning software solutions essential to the SharePoint and Office 365 space, today released a new version of its free tool SharePoint Applications Health Check. The new version includes support for Microsoft Flow and Microsoft PowerApps. It also provides more details on the resulting health status, showing which types of issues have been discovered and where. The Rencore Health Check is available to download for free.
Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint are utilized globally to meet business needs, and either through development or the business user, the platform's functionality can be extended to increase work efficiency. Maintaining a healthy platform while supporting this growth is essential to maximizing the benefits of SharePoint and Office 365. Rencore's free Health Check provides organizations with a quick status on the health of their collaboration environments.
The Rencore Health Check App analyzes Office 365 and SharePoint environments and discovers all instances where applications, scripts, code or configurations introduce vulnerabilities to an organization. In the latest version, the Rencore Health Check adds support for Microsoft PowerApps and Microsoft Flow, adding a layer of control for the two popular Office 365 applications.
The second major update to the tool is an extended reporting capability: after running the tool, it calculates the overall health status and provides detailed insight into the types and now also the locations of a limited number of vulnerabilities.
"After launching the SharePoint Applications Health Check App earlier this year, we received valuable feedback on what is great about the tool, but also what can be improved even further," said Matthias Einig, co-founder and CEO at Rencore. "Based on this feedback, we updated our Health Check offering to cover Office 365 applications such as PowerApps and Flow, that a lot of organizations seem to start looking into right now. Furthermore, we increased the value Health Check holds for its users by providing them not only with the types but also with the locations of discovered vulnerabilities".
Rencore will be presenting the new Health Check tool at booth #304 at SharePoint Conference North America in Las Vegas from May 21st to May 23rd and at booth #1 at European Collaboration Summit in Wiesbaden, Germany from May 27th to May 29th.
