The RTX3370 Telehealth Monitor, which is based on open standards andarchitecture, collects vital signs from peripheral devices and subjectivepatient information from patient questionnaires, and transmits the datadirectly to the Telehealth or disease management company's own clinicalinformation system. The list of peripheral devices certified for using withthe Telehealth Monitor includes scales, blood pressure monitors, bloodglucose meters, peak flow meters, SpO2 meters and ECG recorders from majormedical device manufacturers. The RTX3370 Telehealth Monitor is extremelysimple and intuitive to use for elderly patients. Furthermore, the RTXHealthcare business model is quite unique in the market, as RTX sells itsRTX3370 Telehealth Monitor for a one-off fee and not, unlike most others, asan integrated product with its own proprietary clinical information back-endsolution.
