Hundreds of union and community members from across Ontario and Manitoba will join the workers Wednesday starting at 7 am to show solidarity for Local 229 members, as they protest unfairly low wages and precarious working conditions.

On August 5, Unifor's National President called the clinic to inform them that they should reschedule all patients starting tomorrow. Unifor regrets any inconvenience to patients who deserve the best health care, and asks that patients demand the clinic negotiate a fair deal with these 65 women.
More than 7000 community supporters have shown solidarity with these workers by signing a petition or emailing the Centre's CEO, John Marrello at email@example.com, demanding a fair deal.
