Professional welcomes Kassimir Hand Therapy, completing its fifth acquisition to date in 2018

MELVILLE and UNIONDALE, N.Y., June 04, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Professional Physical

Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient physical and hand therapy and rehabilitation services throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, welcomes Joanne Kassimir, OTR, CHT and her team, expanding its hand therapy services on Long Island.

Kassimir, a widely-respected hand and occupational therapist and Long Island native, has joined Professional's Melville location at 121 Broadhollow Road, inside Blink Fitness, centrally located on the border of Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Former owner of Kassimir Hand Therapy, Joanne Kassimir received her Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Temple University, and specializes in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, custom orthotics and splint fabrication. She is board certified in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and received her Hand Therapy Commission Certification (HTCC).

Kassimir is also a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, New York State Occupational Therapy Association (NYSOTA), American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), and American Association for Hand Surgery.
