Another former Laser Spine Institute provider, Jennifer Bowser, DC, offers patient consultations, the same position she held at LSI. She recently led her first laser spine seminar for PPOA in St. Petersburg, Fla., and will hold a patient consult in the Sun City Center retirement community south of Tampa.

"We are pleased to partner with these incredible providers to allow them the ability to continue extending their level of expertise and incredible outcomes to our Physician Partners of America patients as well as new patients seeking help," says PPOA Chief Operating Officer Josh Helms. "We are proud to be a leader in providing solutions to the opioid crisis and improving patient's lives."

Dr. St. Louis, the surgical founder of Laser Spine Institute, has been director of PPOA's Minimally Invasive Spine Group since January 2018.

Laser Spine Institute, a national spine care company, closed its doors on March 1 amidst rumored financial troubles. More than 500 employees suddenly found themselves out of work and patients were left stranded, including those who had scheduled procedures.

Physician Partners of America immediately reached out to help, holding a career fair for displaced LSI workers and hiring many. It also continues to treat former Laser Spine Institute patients.

The hiring of the additional doctors brings to six the number of spine providers serving chronic paint patients at PPOA in Florida and Texas.

Dr. St. Louis performs procedures primarily in the Tampa Bay, Florida region. Dr. Prada primarily performs procedures in Central and South Florida, while Dr. Menmuir works primarily in South Florida.

Dr. Keith Girton will handle both spine and interventional pain management patients along Florida's east coast. Dr. Bowser handles consultations where needed.

Phillip Kravetz, M.D., a pioneer in the minimally invasive spine surgery field, practices in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

Interested chronic pain sufferers and and former Laser Spine Institute patients can make an appointment by calling 855-25-LASER (855-255-2737).
