Philip Sweet, M.S.N., R.N., PMHCNS-BC, NP is recognized by Continental Who's Who

ALPENA, Mich., Oct. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Philip Sweet, M.S.N., R.N., PMHCNS-BC, NP is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of his contributions to the Nursing field.

Philip serves as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the MidMichigan Alpena Medical Center – Behavioral Health Sciences. He has worked as a psychiatric nurse since 1974 and brings over 30 years of career experience, as well as a particular focus on the provision of psychopharmacology medication reviews, to his role.

Philip earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, in 1972. He then went on to complete his Nursing Diploma from Harper Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit, Michigan in 1974, as well as his Master of Science degree in Nursing – with a concentration in Adult Psychiatric Nursing – from Wayne State University also in Detroit, Michigan in 1982.

To further his professional development, Philip is a member of the International Nurses Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. In recognition of his outstanding work in the field, Sweet has been a featured member of Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare.

When not working, Philip volunteers his time to 12-Step Recovery Programs. He also enjoys spending time at the beach and on Lake Huron, as well as riding bikes with his family.
