ATLANTA, Dec. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Patricia B. Shaffer (R.N., M.N., B.S.) is recognized by Continental Who's Who as aVIP Member in the field of Nursing in recognition of her role as Chief Flight Nurse at Medway Air Ambulance.
Shaffer is currently the Chief Flight Nurse and medical instructor at Medway Air Ambulance, an emergency medical service
Amassing over 30 years of experience with nursing, Shaffer's expertise includes overseeing medical supplies, staffing, training and treating patients, as well as other aspects of the emergency medical field. Other than Medway Air Ambulance, where she has been employed for 16 years, Shaffer is also affiliated with St. Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta, where she retired in 2013.
To further her professional develop, Shaffer is affiliated with prestigious medical organizations, including the International Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Georgia Nurses Association and the Emergency Nurses Association.
Shaffer obtained her nursing degree in 1968 from the Georgia Baptist School of Nursing in Atlanta, Georgia and some years later continued on to receive her Bachelors of Science in Health Management from the University of St. Francis in Joilet, IL. In addition, she obtained her Master of Science degree in Health Administration from the College of California in 1990.
When she's not working, Shaffer enjoys catering, and she attributes her success to being well-rounded and developed. She would like to dedicate this recognition to her parents and children for all of their love and support.
