The POE Advisory Group invited select members that represent key groupsfrom the provider's community to participate and assist in the creation,implementation, and review of education strategies and efforts. The primaryfunction of the advisory group is to serve as a communication vehicle betweenthe South Carolina provider community and Palmetto GBA, the Medicare Part Bcarrier. The POE Advisory Group provides input and feedback on trainingtopics, provider workshops and events. The group also identifies educationissues and recommends effective means of information dissemination toappropriate providers, suppliers and their staff.
