Caffeine Survey Reveals Most, Least Caffeinated Cities

The first annual HealthSaver Caffeinated Cities Survey, commissioned byHealthSaver, found that the most caffeinated city in the country is Chicago,followed by Tampa, Miami, Phoenix and Atlanta. The least caffeinated citiesare San Francisco/Oakland, followed closely by Philadelphia, New York, Detroitand Baltimore. The survey considered numerous caffeine sources, includingcoffee, tea, sodas, energy drinks, chocolate, pain relievers and caffeinepills.

Stress and Anxiety Interfere With Sleep

Seven out of ten adults in the United States say they experience stress oranxiety daily, and most say it interferes at least moderately with theirlives. About one-third report persistent stress or excessive anxiety daily orthat they have had an anxiety or panic attack. Seven out of ten of thoseadults say they have trouble sleeping. These are among the findings of the2007 Stress and Anxiety Disorders Survey, commissioned by the AnxietyDisorders Association of America, which is sponsoring National Stress OutWeek.
