"The field of inflammatory bowel disease is moving faster than ever before, as evidenced in both quantity and quality of research being presented at this year's conference. There are over eighty presentations in both the clinical and basic science sessions, with innovative findings and important outcomes across the board," said Richard P. Attendees will gain insight into current research via clinical presentations, including epidemiology and outcomes research revealing important research results including longitudinal study results from the Ocean State Crohn's and Colitis Area Study (OSCCAR),encouraging clinical trials data, and significant findings in pediatric complications and diagnostics.

"We are also seeing innovative translational studies and basic science research presentations addressing the microbiome and the dietary impact on the human gut microbiota," continued MacDermott.
