The new office has six patient treatment rooms; a larger, more comfortable waiting area and additional office space to accommodate the OSANT team. Updated technology will be installed throughout.
"We'll have monitors and trios technology available in all the patient treatment rooms. Trios is used in implant surgery. It lets you use digital scans of a patient's mouth instead of the composite molds that are often done in dentists' offices," explains William R. Walstad, DDS, of OSANT. "Trios scans are more accurate, take less time; and are less invasive than the alternative. We'll also have cone beam CT and PRF centurfuge technology. PRF stands for platelet rich fibrin. The technology activates the patient's own platelets to stimulate, regenerate and accelerate healing. Among other things, it's used in bone grafting and can help speed healing after oral surgery."
OSANT has been treating patients in Allen since November 2017; and patient care has always been and will always be the practice's number one priority, adds Walstad.
