"Our onlinevisitors will now experience a more vibrant and seamless view of ourservices," added Dobrowski.
The new website also provides additional features such as travel nursingnews and resources, a traveler photo gallery, and a featured jobs RSS feedthat highlights some of Onward Healthcare's premier nationwide positions.Viewers are also given the option to apply online if they are interested inany of the jobs; however they are not required to do so to view the rest ofthe site's content.
In addition to the numerous upgrades aimed at serving the travelprofessional, the site also has an expanded presence for Onward's local perdiem nursing and allied professionals. "Local staffing has traditionally beenmore of a phone based or in-person experience," said Stephen Saville,vice-president of local staffing services for Onward Healthcare. "We areexcited that our re-launched site will provide our local staff with additionalonline benefits such as managing their profiles, accessing their compliancepaperwork, and maintaining their skills checklists."
Onward Healthcare was one of the first companies in the travel nursingindustry to launch a corporate website with the ability to apply online in2002. Onward plans to launch future enhancements to the new site over thecourse of the spring, including expanded RSS feeds, a dedicated section forallied healthcare and travel nursing news, as well as additional resources fortravel professionals.
