Nation's Premier Eating and Anxiety Treatment Center, Remuda Ranch, Names New CEO

PHOENIX, Dec. 9 Remuda Ranch, Programs for Eating and Anxiety Disorders (, announced it has named Billy Young as the new chief executive officer (CEO). Remuda Ranch has a long history of treating individuals with eating and anxiety disorders and is the nation's leading and largest intensive, inpatient treatment center for those disorders.



"Remuda Ranch's 20th anniversary is coming up in January 2010, and I look forward to continuing Remuda's long-standing legacy of providing the best possible treatment for those suffering from eating and anxiety disorders," said Billy Young, CEO of Remuda Ranch.

Young has spent more than 30 years in the behavioral healthcare industry. His expertise includes managing multiple facilities, long term strategic planning and overseeing specialty programs treating impaired professionals, adult and adolescent eating disorders, sexual compulsivity and addictions. Early on in his long-standing career in behavioral health, Young was also a substance abuse counselor.

Young holds a Master of Education and Counseling from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Murray State University in Kentucky. Most recently, Young was the CEO and executive director of New Life Lodge in Burns, Tenn. His previous positions include: CEO and managing director of Keystone Center in Philadelphia, Pa.; executive director of Forrest General Hospital's Pine Grove Recovery Center in Hattiesburg, Miss.; director of psychiatric services at Trace Regional Hospital in Houston, Miss; and program director at North Mississippi Medical Center.
