NSF International Certifies Purity of Four Mannatech Products

COPPELL, Texas, June 25 Mannatech, Incorporated(Nasdaq: MTEX), a leading developer and provider of dietary supplements andskin care solutions, today announced that the purity of Mannatech's Ambrotoseand Advanced Ambrotose glyconutritional supplements has been certified by anindependent, accredited testing laboratory.


NSF International -- a not-for-profit public health certificationorganization -- ensures a product's label reflects the contents of thesupplement, that all ingredients are openly disclosed on the label and thatthe product's purity is acceptable. Additionally, NSF assesses eachmanufacturing site to ensure it complies with Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP); NSF will not certify a product unless the manufacturer meets theserigorous audits.

NSF evaluated the capsule and powder versions of the Ambrotose andAdvanced Ambrotose supplements. The products were certified according to theNSF/ANSI 173 Dietary Supplement Standard -- the only American NationalStandard for dietary supplements. Mannatech intends to carry the NSFcertification mark on the supplements' labels and promotional materials todemonstrate compliance.

Mannatech began the NSF certification process with its flagship Ambrotoseproducts -- the world's first glyconutritional dietary supplements. Thesedietary supplement products include a patented blend of plant-sourcedsaccharides. More than 43 patents worldwide have been issued for thetechnology related to the Ambrotose complex formulation. Mannatech is workingwith NSF to certify additional products in Mannatech's portfolio.
