Myriant engineers naturally occurring organisms to utilize sugars from biomass, and can incorporate carbon dioxide from the environment to produce multiple high value chemicals that are today made from petroleum. As a low cost producer of these green chemicals, Myriant is able to be price competitive even if oil prices drop to $30 per barrel.
