HARRISBURG, Pa., Feb. 1 United Concordia Dental, one of the nation's largest dental insurers, is partnering with the Arizona Dental Foundation (ADF) to provide free dental services in February to more than 260 children throughout Arizona.
"United Concordia takes very seriously our responsibility to help the communities we serve," said Dr. Jerome Blum, United Concordia Dental's corporate dental director. "By partnering with groups such as the Arizona Dental Foundation, we are helping provide essential dental health services to children and adults in need."
During February, United Concordia Dental and ADF will offer free dental services as follows:
"We are pleased to work with United Concordia Dental once again," said Dr. Gregory Pafford, ADF board president. "These programs are a great opportunity to eliminate unnecessary oral pain while educating children about the importance of dental health, proper brushing and flossing techniques."
In 2009, United Concordia Dental helped provide nearly $600,000 in free dental services across the nation to more than 3,900 children and adults with minimal or no insurance.
