To further her professional development, Dr. Khan is a fellow member of American Academy of Dermatology; American Society of lasers in medicine and Surgery; American Society of Dermatologic Surgery; American College of Mohs Surgery and New York Society of Dermatology. Dr. Khan is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Some of Dr. Khan's notable inventions are; Magnetite tattoos; Optical clearing of the human skin using a topical formulation; devices for the removal of tattoo inks; device for hyperhidrosis (patent pending).
