Recent enhancements

"These and planned enhancements make CareWebQI a more robust and useful application for busy clinicians helping to move patients through the continuum of care," said Scott Harris, Milliman Care Guidelines Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "These are examples of continuing improvements in our evidence-based clinical tools, helping to improve quality of patient care, while reducing clinical workload."

The independently developed Care Guidelines span the continuum of care, including behavioral health and management of chronic conditions. The seven-product Care Guidelines series defines treatments and procedures proven to be the most effective, from outpatient treatments, through hospitalization, recovery and rehabilitation. The full-time clinical staff that produces the Care Guidelines prides itself on rigorous adherence to an evidence-based methodology. Over 14,000 unique citations are integrated within the software through hyperlinks and "pop-ups" that provide access to references, footnotes, quality measures and comprehensive annotated bibliographies.
