Microsoft reiterates its commitment to employee wellbeing through its Livewell365 program. This program approaches wellbeing in a holistic manner – committing to physical, emotional and financial wellness of employees and members of their family.

Microsoft Livewell 365 program has been created keeping in mind the dynamic needs and demands of employees. It aims to systematically change behaviors, build awareness and helps the employee adopt a proactive approach to physical, mental and financial wellness.

The physical fitness program is a great combination of targeted activity like workshops and webinars on physical, mental and financial wellbeing and on-premises programs like comprehensive health checkups, medical camps, cancer screening, Flu shots, etc. This program also includes unique initiatives like ‘Fit for Life’ where enrolled employees receive regular tips on crucial fitness parameters that don’t usually get measured by usual medical diagnoses like strength, endurance, and flexibility.

Microsoft LiveWell365 leverages technology and gamification to appeal widely to employees of varied age groups. The first ever edition of Microsoft Run – a marquee program saw a huge response. Microsoft Run – a marathon for Microsoft employees, their families & friends was held yesterday in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. A large number of employees enthusiastically participated in 2.5km / 5km and 10 km run.

Ira Gupta, Head Human Resources, Microsoft India said “We are thrilled to see the response to the Microsoft Run. Our employees bring their best to work every day to support Microsoft on its mission. So, in turn, we strive to offer them an environment where they can realize their full potential. LiveWell365 charter is an integral part of this endeavor” This year’s theme for Microsoft Run was inclusion. At Microsoft, we are committed to harnessing the power of diversity to achieve our mission and it can only happen if everyone can truly bring their authentic self to work, be heard, be recognized, and do their best work.”
