MIAMI, March 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Body RX, a Miami health wellness clinic, will host a police appreciation charity event, Heroes in Blue, to raise funds for the medical care of wounded City of Miami police officer, Mario Gonzalez. Officer Gonzalez was recently injured in an off-duty motorcycle accident resulting in serious injuries and the amputation of both of his legs. Officer Gonzalez has a long journey ahead to recovery. With his accident taking place during off-duty hours, his financial options are severely limited. Body RX is joining with local partners to increase awareness of this opportunity to give back and support a member of the law enforcement community.
The Heroes in Blue fundraising event is this Saturday March 23, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. The fundraiser will offer retired and active duty officers who attend the fundraiser, a complimentary chiropractic body adjustment with Dr. Jose de Goti. For every officer who volunteers for an adjustment, Body RX will donate $100 to Officer Gonzalez's well-being and family care fund.
