Event to Feature Austin 60 Strong Ambassadors Who Are Featured in a 2019 Calendar of Austin Events/Activities

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Medicare beneficiaries who want help as they navigate through the complexities of Medicare enrollment are encouraged to attend the "Medicare Shop & Compare" expo, 4 to 8 p.m., October 23, 2018, at the Villa Milano, 1630 Schrock Road, Westerville. The event is free and will help provide background on 2019 Medicare options, including Medicare Advantage plans.

The expo will include light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the "Columbus 60 Strong Ambassadors," inspirational Columbus-area residents in their sixties who will be featured in an exclusive 2019 calendar highlighting landmarks, entertainment and activities around Central Ohio. The calendar also includes health tips and important Medicare enrollment dates.

Between October 15 and December 7, Medicare beneficiaries have the opportunity to explore and choose 2019 Medicare coverage. The choices include traditional Medicare or Medicare Advantage. The Medicare Advantage plans, which generally provide additional benefits such as prescription drug coverage, are offered by health insurance companies that contract with Medicare.
