NEW YORK, Dec. 23, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Mediaplanet today announces the launch of its cross-platform campaign "Prostate & Urological Health." This campaign will focus on the importance of detecting prostate cancer and making the decision to treat it, as well as other urological problems, including bladder cancer.

The campaign will look to create a conversation that brings together patients, healthcare providers, and urological oncologists to advocate for new innovations in diagnostics, detection, prevention, and treatment for prostate cancer, and overall prostate and urological health. During the pandemic, many have neglected their personal health, making it absolutely vital to raise awareness for these key men's health issues.

The print component of "Prostate & Urological Health" is distributed in today's edition of USA Today with a circulation of approximately 200,000 copies and an estimated readership of 600,000. The digital component is distributed nationally through a vast social media strategy, and across a network of top news sites and partner outlets. Former NBA star Grant Hill and his father, former NFL running back Calvin Hill, are featured on the cover of the print publication. In an exclusive interview with the father-son duo, they shed light on the racial disparities that occur in men's health and prostate cancer in particular. They discuss their work with the Black History Month Assist Challenge, and the importance of regular prostate cancer screenings and early detection. "Children are heavily influenced and tend to follow the habits and traits of their parents, of their father," Grant says in the cover story. "You're not just saving your own life by being smart and disciplined with regard to this, but you're also influencing your children and getting them to understand the importance of it."

This campaign was made possible with the support of Giddy, Invitae, Movember, Photocure, Prostate Conditions Education Council, Tolmar Pharmaceuticals, Urotronic, and Verity Pharmaceuticals.
