LEOMINSTER, Mass., July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Leominster-based MedStar Ambulance co-founders Nicholas and Gregory Melehov today announced the medical transportation company is sponsoring the 28th Annual UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital Golf Classic taking place Aug. 6 at The International Golf Club and Resort in Bolton.
"We're really excited to be part of this great event this year," stated Nicholas Melehov. "For the past 27 years, the Golf Classic has been a local fund-raising tradition that has provided over $2.5 million to help students pursuing careers in the health care field."
According to Melehov, MedStar is one of three Platinum sponsors this year; the other two are Worker's Credit Union and the medical staff of UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital.
