CINCINNATI, Dec. 19 Healthcare professionals have ratedMedPlus' ChartMaxx(R) enterprise-wide electronic patient record system as thetop healthcare Document Management and Imaging (DMI) software product,according to the 2008 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & ProfessionalServices report, an independent ranking based on customer feedback of tophealthcare information technology (HIT) vendors. KLAS, an independent research firm, bases its rankings on interviews withhealthcare executives, professionals and clinicians at more than 4,500hospitals and 2,500 clinics. Ratings are based on confidential feedbackreceived from vendors' current customers to 40 questions covering topicsranging from the quality of training and services, to whether the productlived up to expectations. KLAS research analysts assess evaluation forms,completed online, over the phone or via fax or e-mail, with in-depthconfidential interviews with each survey participant. Document management andimaging (DMI) software vendors provide products that can scan, create,archive, workflow and validate electronically stored documents and images.
