Ms. Sainz brings to Concentric almost twenty years of experience in thecardiovascular medical technology area. Most recently she was President of theCardiac Surgery division of Guidant Corporation and led the transition andintegration of the Cardiac Surgery division into Boston Scientific followingthe merger of the two companies. Prior to that, Ms. Sainz served as VicePresident, Global Marketing of the Vascular Intervention division of Guidant,which followed her assumption of increasingly broad leadership roles forGuidant in both the United States and in Europe. Ms. Sainz also serves on theboard of two healthcare technology companies.

Ms. Sainz succeeds Gary Curtis, who served as the Chief Executive Officerof the company since July 2002 and who recently decided to step down after 40years in the medical device industry. Now is the appropriate time to transition to new leadership thatwill take the company to the next level."
