John S. Frey, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of Madison, announced their agreement, formalizing a relationship that has been in the making between Madison and the Sanderling's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Jerome Tannenbaum, since 2001.
"Dr. Tannenbaum began building dialysis clinics with our company almost 10 years ago and has since built over 20 such facilities. Three years ago, his company engaged Madison to build 24,000 sq. ft. of a state-of-the-art hospital in Pennsylvania, a joint accomplishment many said was not possible. Dr. Tannenbaum's vision and experience in building healthcare facilities, coupled with Madison's ability to build institutional quality, 50-year construction, in a factory environment, has led us to the decision to work exclusively with each other on all healthcare construction," commented Mr. Frey.
Sanderling Healthcare was founded by Dr. Tannenbaum in 2009 to build healthcare facilities for communities in the United States and around the world. Dr. Tannenbaum stated, "Over the past eight years, Madison has proven to me that complex medical facilities, including hospitals, can be built with a level of consistency and precision which is impossible to achieve with on-site construction.
