Dr. Kelly received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School and his Ph.D. fromHarvard University. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Kelly was Chief Health andMedical Officer of Union Pacific Railroad, which has received many awards forits health and wellness programs. He has held senior executive positions witha number of organizations, including Aetna, American Medical Association, andSan Francisco Department of Public Health. He has served on the Boards of theNational Committee for Quality Assurance and the National Association forHealth Data Organizations. He has served on the clinical faculties of theUniversity of California, San Francisco; University of Chicago; and Universityof Pennsylvania.
