FARGO, N.D., Nov. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Lexli International Inc., the premier brand of aloe vera skin care, is proud to announce the latest recipient of a Lexli Esthetic Scholarship. Laila Taylor of Decatur, Georgia, a student in the esthetics program at Elaine Sterling Institute in Sandy Springs, Georgia, has been selected to receive a $1,000 award, along with a Lexli Professional Introduction Kit, valued at more than $500, which provides products and materials to help Laila build her business when she becomes a licensed esthetician in early 2019.

"I fell in love with esthetics as soon as I began school and now have so many education and career goals. In fact, I am considering becoming a medical aesthetician," said Laila Taylor. "Receiving this scholarship has taken a huge weight off of my shoulders, as tuition was a stressor for me. I can now focus on completing school and getting started in my career."

Lexli introduced the Lexli Esthetic Scholarship program in 2017 as a way to support those training for a career in the esthetics industry. Through the program, Lexli awards one $1,000 scholarship annually to an individual who demonstrates a passion for skin care and the talent to be a leader in the field. To apply, aspiring estheticians must be enrolled in an accredited program, complete a scholarship application and submit a personal video that highlights their philosophy toward skin care and/or their vision for the future of the esthetics industry. All entries are judged by a panel that includes veteran licensed estheticians, physicians and members of the Lexli executive team. Ms. Taylor's submission can be viewed on YouTube.

"Growth in the esthetics industry shows no sign of slowing, given that consumers increasingly understand that esthetic treatments are a means by which to optimize the health and beauty of their skin," said Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, founder and lead formulator of the Lexli line of skin care. "With this growth comes the need for passionate, well-trained practitioners. However, the cost of training can be a roadblock. As a professional skin care brand sold by estheticians, we believe it is vital that we support those who have the desire to enter this exciting industry."

Lexli is currently accepting applications for its spring scholarship award. Full scholarship details and the application form, as well as a list of recent scholarship winners, can be found at http://www.lexli.com/scholarship/.
