LISLE, Ill., Oct. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Leadership Group (LG), a group dedicated to career management and professional development of executives, has announced a donation to Camp One Step who empowers children diagnosed with cancer to find new hope and believe again in a brighter future.
Members of Camp One Step attended the LG's third quarter networking event held on Thursday, October 25. 2018. Ambassadors from the charity were presented a check totaling $47,000.00. The gift is the result of the LG's 6th annual charity golf outing held in July at The Bridges of Poplar Creek, Hoffman Estates, IL.
John Liacone, Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Overture Group™ and LG Founder said, "The LG exists to give support, advice, and counsel to its members and in turn, we are happy to give back and pay it forward to the community." Robbie Tesmond, a youth ambassador and Camper, presented his journey to the group.
