Attention journalists: LARKR recognizes that this is a stressful time in journalism industry and want to make sure journalists have the mental health resources they need, at no cost. LARKR knows they're breaking all the rules by sending this announcement on a Friday afternoon, but they wanted to alert journalists to this free therapy offer, as quickly as they were able to coordinate it.

ANNAPOLIS, Md., June 29, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In light of the recent shooting that took place at the newsroom of

the Capital Gazette, a daily newspaper in Annapolis, Maryland, mental health app LARKR is donating complimentary and discounted therapy sessions to journalists and other individuals impacted by the tragedy.

The LARKR app can be downloaded for free on the Apple App Store. Others locally or nationwide who were impacted can use the code "Annapolis" to receive $40 off an $85, 50-minute therapy session. In moments like this, it is critical that we come together to ensure that those impacted by such a tragedy are able to receive the physical and mental health care that they need."
