It will also become the Louisville, Ky.-based financial and clinical performance management firm's preferred partner for value-based care services.
Since its launch in 2012, Koan Health's predictive analytics and support have helped accountable care organizations and health systems meet the demands of public and commercial pay-for-value arrangements in population health and specific episodes of care, including congestive heart failure, stroke, major joint replacement and pneumonia.

The acquisition greatly expands Koan's core capabilities in clinical data integration, quality analytics and quality measure management.
