KALAMAZOO, Mich., Sept. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A Dental Radiography course is being offered in September at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Classes will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 28 and from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 22 and 29 in the Dental Hygiene Clinic at the Texas Township Campus.
Dental radiographs are essential in the diagnosis of dental malformations and diseases. Taking high quality radiographs can help ensure an accurate and timely diagnosis. As new techniques are developed, the dental practitioner must remain well-informed of new techniques and capable of performing radiographic procedures proficiently. This course is designed to help prepare dental assistants on the basic principles and current techniques of dental radiography.
